The 24-hour day pass is also available in a special child version at a significantly reduced price. This day pass is designed for children aged 4 to 11. Just like the regular day pass, the Amsterdam Children 24-Hour Ticket is valid for 24 hours from the first check-in on all GVB trams, (night)buses, and metros.

With the Amsterdam Children 24-Hour Ticket, kids aged 4 to 11 can enjoy 24 hours of unlimited travel throughout Amsterdam – day and night – on buses, trams, and metros, tailored to fit your plans. The child day pass is valid for 24 hours from the first check-in, so there’s no need for an OV-chipkaart to use this convenient ticket.

What does it cost?
€4.50 per 24-hour pass for children aged 4 to 11.
Children under 4 travel for free.

Where and when is it valid?

Valid on all buses, trams, and metros operated by GVB.

Please note: These tickets are only valid on GVB’s metro, tram, and bus services, not on regional buses operated by companies like Connexxion and EBS or on trains.

How to use it?

The Amsterdam Children 24-Hour Ticket is a disposable chip card. Simply check in and check out on each bus, tram, or metro, just like with a regular OV-chipkaart. After its validity period, you can simply dispose of the Amsterdam Children 24-Hour Ticket.
