With the Rotterdam Children Day Ticket, children aged 4 to 11 can travel throughout Rotterdam for a full day, day and night, using RET buses, trams, and metros at a reduced fare. The day ticket remains valid from your initial check-in until 4:00 AM the following morning. It’s the ideal choice if you plan to travel more and want to take advantage of these transportation services economically. The RET day ticket is also practical for those who don’t possess an OV-chipkaart, don’t have it with them, or if it has expired.

Pricing of RET Day Tickets:

• RET Day Ticket with reduction (4-11 years): €5.00
• RET Day Ticket without reduction (12 years and above): €9.50
• Children under 4 years travel for free.

Where and When is the Rotterdam Children Day Ticket Valid?

• Valid on all RET metros, trams, and buses.
• Valid throughout the day from the first check-in until 4:00 AM the following night. It’s not a 24-hour travel product.
• The RET day ticket is not valid with other transportation providers like NS, Aquabus, or Waterbus.
• Not valid on the BOB-bus.

How to Use the Rotterdam Children Day Ticket?

The RET day ticket is a disposable chip card. You need to check in and check out on each tram or bus, just like with a regular OV-chipkaart. At the end of the day, you can simply dispose of the RET day ticket.
